6th grade Outdoor Education
The 6th grade Outdoor Education Trip will be held April 11th thru April 13th at Camp Nuhop this year. Total cost of the trip is $165.00. The 2nd payment is due March 9th and the final payment will be due on March 30th. There is an informational meeting for parents and students scheduled for Thursday, March 15th at 6:30 pm in the Middle School cafeteria. Backpacks for Buddies! Backpacks for Buddies
Sunny 95 and Mad River Mountain salute rising stars, Alee Brunty and Katie Wells. Alee and Katie, 8th graders at Liberty Union Middle School, discovered that some of their classmates would head into the weekend not knowing where their next meal would come from. So Alee and Katie started a program called Backpacks for Buddies.

Snow Day Information Snow Days
When I have the opportunity to speak with the students the question asked most often is, “Are you going to give us a lot of snow days?” I know the students love snow days, but I know the change in schedule impacts parents because they need to make alternative plans for their children that day. My number one concern is the safety of the children. The current weather, temperature and future weather are all factors in making a decision to hold school, delay or cancel.

This school year we will be doing our Backpacks for Buddies Program again. This program offers food items a few times a month for families in need. This program runs October-May. If you sign up with Kay Williamsons' after-school program, students automatically receive a bag.
