LUHS Pro Peace Corner

What the Pro-Peace Program Is:

  • The Pro-Peace Program is a club that is organized by the elementary school and the high school and is full of students in both schools.

  • We will focus on elementary kids that are at-risk.

  • The reason why we wanted to start a club like this is because there is an epidemic that is going on and the “bullies” and at risks students who could be deemed as behavior problems need a mentor.

  • LUHS students will mentor LUES students and show them that there are always two roads that you can take and just because you are going down the wrong road right now does not mean that you can not turn around and go on the other road.

  • As a member of Pro-Peace Program, LUHS students would mentor a young kid and be a role model for the little kid. LUHS students would have to be dedicated with the person they are role modeling for, be a great role model, be there for that person at all hours, and teach that person what the difference between right and wrong.
