Summer Learning Options
As the school year begins to wind down, it is time to think about summer learning opportunities! Liberty Union Schools and local establishments offer a variety of options for your students.
- Kindergarten through fourth grade students can participate in Liberty Union’s Summer Learning Program. At the May Kick-Off Event students will receive a book bag with a variety of goodies, including a skill learning workbook and a book for reading. Parents can utilize the workbook any way that best fits their summer schedule and routine. Also, THREE times during the summer, Liberty Union teachers will be available for workbook check-ins and fun events. Students can sign up for the Summer Learning Program by asking their teacher or the elementary school office for the parent form!
- Baltimore Public Library will be offering events all summer long including Preschool Story time, Music and Movement, and Chess Club? More details available at http://fcdlibrary.evanced.info/signup/Calendar
- Fairfield County Engineering Technology Camp will be held the week of July 9th for students entering grades 8 and 9 and the week of July 16th for those entering grades 10, 11 or 12. More information available at http://www.libertyunion.org/1/News/15282
