The Liberty Union-Thurston Music Department provides numerous performing ensembles and classes for students to gain appreciation and knowledge of music. The music department strives for excellence in all performing ensembles and stresses the importance of learning quality music as part of a well-rounded education.
The Liberty Union Music Boosters are an active group of parents and other supporters who assist the music department with fundraising, volunteering, and organizational tasks. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month (with the exception of July) at 7:30pm in the high school music room.
