Before the first day of seventh grade is over, Kat Randall’s year is nearly ruined. Cheddar, the family dog has been run over by a woman with Alzheimer’s disease. Kat acts impulsively, leaving school on a borrowed bike to get to the vet. The borrowed bike gets stolen and all kinds of rumors are spreading at school. Will Kat’s school year get better?
