INSTRUCTION FOR STUDENTS

  • In order to keep our staff safe, we are cleaning each building on a rotational basis.

  • On March 17th we will be completing a deep clean of the high school building.

  • This cleaning means that we will adjust the previously announced schedule that the high school would be open today for students to collect personal belongings and Chromebooks.

  • High School building availability times and dates will be announced at a later time.

COMMUNICATION

  • The district has created a specific web page for COVID-19 information.

  • Be sure you are following the official school district social media accounts:

  • All district and school administrators can be reached daily via their school email address. All Liberty Union staff email accounts, follow this format: [email protected]

FOOD SERVICE

  • The Liberty Union-Thurston Schools will provide free meals for students up to age 18 Monday through Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

  • On the first night, the district served over 400 students!

  • Curbside food pick-up for all grade levels (K-12) will be held at the back of the middle school building each weekday.

  • Families are encouraged to pick up food bags for the entire week for each child.

  • The district will not be responsible for monitoring food allergies during this time. However, if your child has a severe allergy to peanut butter, please let us know, as we will be using Uncrustables on a daily basis.
