Attention LUES Families (Bus 2 & 5 riders ONLY):
Please be advised of an early dismissal schedule for this coming Friday due to the upcoming Luke Bryan concert:
Pickup Time: Students who ride Bus 2 and Bus 5 ONLY will be picked up at the elementary school at 1:30 PM to be transported home.
Departure: Buses are scheduled to leave the building by 1:40 PM. Please ensure you are at your child's bus stop and prepared to receive them at this adjusted time.
Note: In the event that the concert is cancelled, dismissal will revert to its normal schedule.

If your elementary student rides bus 6 in the morning, starting tomorrow 8-19 the bus stop will be 10 minutes earlier. This change is only for the morning and only bus 6.

Good morning:
Flooding is not a major issue this morning but some road closures are a concern.
We will not be transporting any bus riders to school on bus 1 that live on Stemen Road and any bus riders on bus 17 that live west of Snyder Church Road.

It has been changed today because while it is important to let others know that we appreciate them it is just as important that we acknowledge our own self worth, appreciation for our strengths, and positives that sometimes get overshadowed.

Happy Monday of Teacher Appreciation Week!
Here is what is in store for the day.
In the office you will see little notes and envelopes. Write a note to someone to show your appreciation for them. Give that note (with the person's name on the envelope) to Lorie. She will give you a gold ticket to put your name on and entry into a drawing. Each day we will have a new teacher inspired item to give away.
Today around 10 a sweet treat will be put out in the office.
At the end of the day we will pick 2 teachers to win 100 dollars towards classroom/instructional supplies from Amazon.
Thank you for everything that you do. We cannot wait to show you how much we appreciate each and every one of you.

Teacher appreciation is upon us. Tim and I were talking today and know there is no way to show how much we appreciate all you do....but we are going to try. Each day next week we will draw a random teachers name. That teacher will win $100 from Amazon for class/instructional supplies! The only catch is that orders need to be placed by the end of day Friday, so start brainstorming what you would want if your name is selected. We're so excited for you to see what the week has in store. Have a great weekend!

Ag Day will be this Friday, April 10. Your child's teacher will be sending home communication very soon about the day. One important piece is that your child will need a packed/sack lunch for the day. If your child will need a packed/sack lunch provided by the school please let your child's teacher know by this Wednesday (April 8) morning at the latest so they can let the kitchen know.
