Morning and happy Friday! Today how you get a gold ticket will look slightly different: Select one of the inspiration notecards On the back write YOURSELF a positive or encouraging note Put it in an envelope and show Lorie (the envelope not your personal note) Get your gold ticket It has been changed today because while it is important to let others know that we appreciate them it is just as important that we acknowledge our own self worth, appreciation for our strengths, and positives that sometimes get overshadowed. Have a great Friday and thank you again for everything that you do. Tim & Thomas

Happy Monday of Teacher Appreciation Week!

Here is what is in store for the day.

In the office you will see little notes and envelopes. Write a note to someone to show your appreciation for them. Give that note (with the person's name on the envelope) to Lorie. She will give you a gold ticket to put your name on and entry into a drawing. Each day we will have a new teacher inspired item to give away.

Today around 10 a sweet treat will be put out in the office.

At the end of the day we will pick 2 teachers to win 100 dollars towards classroom/instructional supplies from Amazon.

Thank you for everything that you do. We cannot wait to show you how much we appreciate each and every one of you.

Teacher appreciation is upon us. Tim and I were talking today and know there is no way to show how much we appreciate all you do....but we are going to try. Each day next week we will draw a random teachers name. That teacher will win $100 from Amazon for class/instructional supplies! The only catch is that orders need to be placed by the end of day Friday, so start brainstorming what you would want if your name is selected. We're so excited for you to see what the week has in store. Have a great weekend! Tim & Thomas

Hello families!
With all the construction going on around the school and community some of our buses will be running 10 minutes late depending on where the crews are working. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this time as it can be different each day.

Good afternoon everyone,
Ag Day will be this Friday, April 10. Your child's teacher will be sending home communication very soon about the day. One important piece is that your child will need a packed/sack lunch for the day. If your child will need a packed/sack lunch provided by the school please let your child's teacher know by this Wednesday (April 8) morning at the latest so they can let the kitchen know.

Thanks everyone!

There was an Apple charging cord found in the back parking lot. It is a USB to Lightening cord. If it is yours it's in my office. Have a great day!

Good morning LUES guardians,
This is a reminder that if you are dropping of your student(s) in the morning you need to park and walk them up to the cones before they can enter the building. This is for student safety.
Thank you!

The Mobile Dentist is coming to our school on December 4th!

We know that it can be a challenge to get your child in to see the dentist due to everyday demands and schedule conflicts. That’s why we are happy to offer a program that brings the dentist and dental assistants to our school to provide preventative care and treatment during the school day. The Mobile Dentist can provide several services including exams, x-rays, cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments. In addition to these services, they are also now able to provide minor restorative procedures such as fillings and extractions of problem baby teeth.

Medicaid and CHIP are accepted as well as private insurance which almost always pays for 100% of treatment. In addition, the program offers a highly discounted self-pay option. For those without insurance or the means to pay, there is a grant program option. NO CHILD IS TURNED AWAY DUE TO AN INABILITY TO PAY.

If you are interested in having your child see the Mobile Dentist, look out for the permission forms that will be sent home the week of October 27th. Extra forms will be available in the school office. Parents can also sign-up online by going to: https://www.myschooldentist.com/LULUOH_schsrm
